### Photos and health (each dog)
1. Open the dog → **Photos** and **Health, risks and records** sections.
2. Drop image files into `photos/profile`, `photos/training`, etc.
3. Fill `health/RISKS.md` and `health-profile.json` with real vet data.
4. Ridgebacks already have breed risk flags pre-listed (heat, bloat, dermoid sinus screen, etc.).
5. You can also **Upload** photos via the Upload tab (category Photo) for live website sync.

### Psychiatric / behavioral profile (each dog)
1. Open the dog → **Psychiatric / behavioral profile**.
2. Fill temperament, stressors, coping, behavior log, handler-team notes, reactivity risk.
3. `profile.json` holds a quick snapshot (confidence, focus, sound sensitivity, etc.).
4. PTSD / psychiatric / autism service dogs get psych-task readiness flagged as **in-development**.
5. Keep **handler** private mental-health details out of the dog folder — only training/public-access needs.

**How to train from a plan**
1. Open **Full plan** for that dog.
2. Follow **Week 1** techniques only at first.
3. Run short sessions (about 5–12 minutes), 3× per day if possible.
4. Log notes in `stages/*/SESSION-LOG.md`.
5. Check off stages in the dog page when ready.

---

## 4. Curriculum library

**Curriculum** tab:
- Stages (puppy → service)
- Service type modules (guide, hearing, mobility, PTSD, etc.)
- Links to the best-techniques catalog and plans index

Use the curriculum search box on that tab to filter cards.

---

## 5. Upload training material (to the website)

1. Open **Upload** (or `#upload`).
2. Choose:
   - **Dog** or **Shared library**
   - **Category** (session notes, photo, video, health, etc.)
   - Optional **stage**, title, your name, note
3. Drop a file or click to choose (max about **3.5 MB**).
4. Upload key (default): `rnr-training`
(Change this in Netlify as `TRAINING_UPLOAD_KEY` when you want it private.)
5. Click **Upload to website archive**.

Uploads are stored on **rnrbacks.com**. Anyone with RNRchive open and Live will see them after the next auto-refresh (about every 12 seconds).

You can **search**, **download**, or **delete** uploads from the same tab.

---

## 6. Custom packages (drag and drop)

1. Open **Packages** (or `#builder`).
2. **Source palette (left):** stages, techniques, dog plans, services, uploads.
3. **Drag** items into the **canvas (right)** — or double-click to add.
4. **Reorder** by dragging cards; **×** removes; add a note on each card.
5. Name the package and add package notes.
6. **Save package** (kept in this browser).
7. **Export .md** or **.json** to share or print.

**Seed from dog:** pick a dog → **Seed from dog** to start a pack with that dog’s plan + techniques + service module.
From a dog page you can also click **Build package**.

---

## 7. Compile a pack for one dog

1. Select a dog.
2. Open **Compile** (or **Compile pack** on the dog page).
3. Review the markdown pack.
4. **Download .md** for handlers, binders, or email.

The pack lists the plan, techniques, curriculum paths, and dog folder files.

---

## 8. Live updates (staying connected)

While RNRchive stays open:
- Materials list **auto-refreshes**
- **Live feed** on Overview shows newest uploads
- Banner appears when **new** material is detected
- Switching back to the browser tab **syncs again**

Close the tab = sync pauses. Reopen = reconnects and loads the latest.

---

## 9. Main website links

From RNRchive header/footer you can jump to:
- Home, Social / 3 C’s, Free Club, Exclusive, Apollo, Merch, Pred Watch

From the main site menu: **More → RNRchive** and **RNRchive Upload**.

## 11. Service breed colors (green / yellow / red)

Dog folders and the dog list are color-marked from **web service-dog breed guidance** (not a legal ranking):

| Color | Meaning | Examples (from web lists) |
|-------|---------|---------------------------|
| **Green** | Breeds most often recommended for service success | Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Poodle, Collie, Bernese, doodle crosses of those |
| **Yellow** | Possible with the right dog; harder / less common | Rhodesian Ridgeback, many mixes, multi-breed prospects |
| **Red** | Higher difficulty defaults or not on active service path | Some high-arousal independent types; **career-change eval** status |

- Filter by color in the left sidebar (**Service breed mark**).
- Each dog has `SERVICE-BREED-GREEN.md` / `YELLOW` / `RED` plus reasons.
- Full source list: `data/service-breed-web-guide.json`
- **ADA note:** federal law does **not** ban breeds for real service dogs; colors are training-fit only.

## 12. Tips

- **Ridgebacks:** short sessions, heat/pavement care — already built into their plans. (Usually **yellow** on web-based SD breed lists.)
- **Stress:** plans say to drop back to place + engagement only.
- **Service tasks** never replace public-access calm.
- Progress checkboxes/notes are stored **in your browser** (not on the server).
- Uploaded files and the archive content live on the **website**.
- Use **Ctrl+F5** (hard refresh) if you don’t see new buttons after an update.
